Text Match

Text Match looks through your articles for mentions of other articles’ titles that aren’t linked yet. They are the best links you can add: in context, with natural wording, and no writing needed.

How it matches

For each article title, ClusterIQ builds a keyword — the title’s main part, without a subtitle after a colon or dash (“Millesgården” from “Millesgården: Sculpture, Art & Views”). It then finds that keyword in other articles’ text, skipping text that is already a link, image captions, quotes and shortcodes. On multilingual sites (Polylang, WPML), only articles in the same language are matched; on WooCommerce sites, product names are matched too.

Stop words and phrases (Settings → Content → Text Match) keep common words from matching.

Working through the results

Each result shows the sentence with the exact words that will become the link, the article it’s in, and the article it will link to — with its role, so orphans come first. Long lists show 25 articles at a time.

  • Apply turns the words into a link.
  • Apply all links every mention on the list — or only those to orphans, with that filter on — one after another, with a Stop button.
  • Skip hides that pair for good.
  • Undo removes a link you applied; Undo run removes every link an Apply all added.

The same results appear where you need them: Quick wins in Cluster Inspector and Improve this article in Article Inspector.

Elementor articles are supported in Pro and Agency (Text Editor widgets). Other page builders are detected, and ClusterIQ explains that it won’t write there.

Why these links matter: see the guide Internal linking.
